My name is Anupriya Tantia, I was born in Kolkata, India. After completing my schooling in India, I wanted to pursue photography as a career and shifted to London in 2014 to study photography in London College of Communication. I have always been very passionate about this subject being slightly more inclined towards street and wildlife photography.

Explanation of work –

For the Two Fifty One Photography project I wanted to champion the various facets of Elephant and Castle; it being a place where multiple people and ideas co-exist. I aimed to do this by photographing the various textures, patterns and architectural forms I saw around Elephant and Castle that are akin to the area. I also played around with their depth of field to translate the images into a sense of motion and movement for the viewer when one walks through the hall ways or corridors alongside these images in large formats.
