Dorota Beau-Ingle

Originaly from Poland, I moved to London where I could realize my urge of becoming an artist. I graduated from BA Photography at the London College of Communication in 2017. I have established my practice working with photographic image and installation. My main areas of interest include documentary and still life, where projects are conceived through personal experience and the need to discuss social taboos.

My Melancholia photographic series was created using dying bunches of flowers, collected from local flower sellers and bars around Elephant and Castle area. At the end of the day, the wilted plants are no longer desired and land in trash. The decaying flowers can be just as beautiful as a fresh bunch, if we choose to look at them this way.
